Selat Solo

Selat Solo (Javanesse Steak) is one of traditional Javanesse food especially from Solo, Solo is one of the city from Central Java, Indonesia. Selat Solo  is different from usual steak. So how about this one?

Selat Solo are made from beef, sliced thin,  Eggs, fried potatoes, cucumber, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, selada (lettuce) and crispy potatoes. Selat Solo is served with gravy steak brown liquid sweet taste and mix mustard. Mix mustard are made from mayonaisse, boiled egg yolk, potatoes and then all ingredients are mixed together. The taste is combination between sweet, sour and also savory. If you plan to visit Solo, you have to try this one beside Sego Liwet or Gudeg Ceker. And Warung Selat Mbak Lies is the best in town which locate at Serengan Gang II/42 Solo, Central Java or you find it at Galabo (Langen Bogan) in front of Pusat Grosir Solo.
